BRRRRRR

I guess we are looking at WINTER the weather is really cold here and we have snow and lots of ice on the ground. I know it is not all that unusual for a lot of you to get cold and snow but for us it is a big deal.

I know Kelsee was hoping that she didn't have school on Monday but it was only cold not snowy yet. Today is another story. She didn't get her wish but she did get to sleep in for an extra hour I don't think that is the same.

I thought I heard something about a La Nina coming to our part of the world and I think we are looking forward to that after more than 12 inches of rain for the month of November and we still have a couple of days left to break that record.

We all survived Thanksgiving and had a good time. Amy was the hostess and did a great job. We played Crainum and all had lots of laughs. Some of us need help in some of the catagories. I am speaking of myself only and that is my story and I'm sticking to it.

Now we have Christmas to look to and I don't know what that will bring with half of the family going to Hawaii and the rest of us here. I was thinking of heading out just for something different to do and see how that works. We may head to the coast depending on the weather. If it is like this week it would be better to stay closer and not try to go over any mountains. There is a record snow fall too so maybe something even more different than that. We will see but need to do some thinking.

Hope all had a Wonderful Thanksgiving and didn't get too much in the tummy to be able to do the things you wanted to. Like walk....

Well, so much for the fax..

Day Light Savings

Well, here it is another daylight savings change. We are back to Standard time and dark at night unless you get to leave your job by 4:00 you get to come home in the dark. Not so good.

We have had so much rain that Oregon even changed where they are getting their water supply for the area because the water level is back up again. Go figure.

I guess we have some places that are emergency areas and the water has made a mess of some of the roads. Now we have to work on the state to get the money to fix these things. That is how it goes.

Life is good Bob has been able to take some days off and he needs to do that every so often and he just sort of does what he wants to except for yesterday. He wanted to play golf he could have if he wanted to do so with scuba equipment on. It was that bad here. So he stayed home and did stuff around here. Just to be home and away from work is the best.

I am thinking that it might do me some good too. I am getting to the burn out stage and that is not good. Hope things change and I get myself back on the track again.

Well, so much for the fax just another day and that's the way it is.

November

Here it is November and we are getting really cold. I guess that is what is supposed to be it is getting to be close to winter. We don't really like that (at least most of us) but here it is. We had frost on the ground yesterday and again today.

Things are just going on not much exciting to report just work and home. We did have a nice weekend spent it with Pam, Trish and boys, Amy, Wade and their girls. We just had a some games and some pizza. Man is Patrick getting TALL. He is 13 and almost 6' tall. His voice is getting deep too. I guess they all grow up it is just really exciting to see them all grow up.

We had dinner with Pam and Jeff and Katherine and Sean were there too. It was very nice and I got to see Alex too. He is tall too but he has been tall for a little while and his voice is deep too. He will be 16 soon WOW!!!!! They grow up so fast and the older we get the faster they grow up.

Well so much for that and that was just the fax.
