FEBURARY

Wow!!!

I don't know about you but this year is already going way too fast. It won't be too long now and we will have a new teenager. She is having a party and it is going to be a real ring-ding.

It just doesn't seem possible that 13 years could have gone by since Hailee made her apperance but it has. She is so grown up and then sooooo little girl. I guess that can discribe just about all of us at any given time in our lives.

We are in the middle of WINTER and I do mean cold winter. We have had so many cold days that when it warms up it will be a real treat. Bob is still playing golf even if the greens are a little stiff in the morning he loves to play and he is getting it in anytime he can.

Not too much happening that is different just living life and doing all the things you do. We are hoping to get a deck and cover done this year and that will be great for our 4th that way we don't have to worry about putting up the tent things and hoping they won't be blown down. So that will be a good addition.

We are even looking into getting passports. I have to get a birth certificate from Texas and we will have to get Bob's too but he was born here so it won't be too hard to do that. Just have to get it done. We don't have plans just hopes and big dreams.

Marney has been doing well in her new job and I guess she is busy as we haven't heard from her but I know she always puts herself into what she does. So she is working to get things done just the way the should be and the way she wants them done.

Well, have to run for now I will be back maybe in a month. Seems like that is about what it is now maybe if something really exciting or maybe interesting I will come back sooner. Take care and keep warm (around here).

Back to Normal??

I don't know what "Normal" is but I guess we are back there.

The hustle and bustle is gone and that is good. We need to have some calm and less crazy. I know most of you have smaller people living with you and the need to transport them to places is still happening but at least the extra stuff is quiet now.

I sound like Scrooge and I guess we sort of were this year. We spent a very quiet Christmas just Bob and me and we went to Skamania Lodge. It was very nice and I was very surprised how many people were there. There was a wedding there on the 23rd when we got there they were just going to their reception.

Bob is thinking he would like to go back this summer sometime to play the golf course. It was covered with a light dusting of snow when we were there and we took a little hike around part of the course. Got some pictures and had a very nice time. I got my fingers and toes pampered and that was great for me.

Marney is tucked into a new apartment and is doing well, Amy and her family are back home and back to the normal grind. So all is well in the world.

We don't have any plans for anything special for awhile now. Just work until the next time to be able to get away presents itself. We might just take it.
